NOMATEN Centre of Excellence (CoE) is formed through a scientific partnership between the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ-Poland), the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA-France) and the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT-Finland) with joint financial support from the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the European Commission. It is currently composed of 5 Research Groups and is directed by Mikko Alava.

We are currently looking for an employee for the position:
Specialist to support the grant applications
Location: Otwock - Świerk - in the outskirts of Warsaw with daily transport services provided.
Role and Responsibilities:
- assisting and managing of the preparation of project applications financed from international and national funds;
- administrative support and advice for applicants in the preparation of project applications to funding agencies;
- monitoring of submitted applications and assistance in the preparation of consortium and grant agreements;
- assisting in identifying opportunities to obtain funds to finance research and development works from international and national funds (Horizon Europe, EURATOM, MNiSW, NAWA, NCN, FnP and others);
- cooperation with entities organizing competitions;
- interacting with foreign and domestic partners for project consortia, including some travel abroad eventually.
Requirements:
- higher education,
- proven record of international experience,
- fluent English,
- creativity and a problem-solving atitude,
- excellent communication and organizational skills,
- consistency and result orientation,
- ability to be a team member.
An additional advantage of the candidate will be:
- experience in grant writing or grant management or proposal evaluating or implementing / monitoring or reporting of programs or projects co-financed from EU or national funds;
- experience in international projects or in cooperation with international organizations;
- knowledge of the principles of operation of national funds, including the principles of project eligibility;
